01 · UPCOMING FESTIVAL

Double Ninth Festival

October 18, 2026 · 11 days away

Double Ninth Festival falls on the ninth day of the ninth month of the Chinese calendar. Practices can include climbing and autumn viewing, cornel sachets, chrysanthemums, chrysanthemum wine and local ancestor remembrance, while contemporary public culture also emphasizes respect for elders. Their combination varies by region. Layered hills, radiating chrysanthemum petals, sachets and stacked cakes offer useful design structures. Gold, pale yellow, warm camel and Moon White with dark brown-black form a mature autumn palette explicitly labelled as a modern editorial interpretation.
02 · SEASONAL YUE LING READING

Second Month of Autumn

「仲秋之月,日在角。」
Entry 8 follows the seasonal month sequence of the Liji's Yue Ling and is only an aggregation aid. Ancient monthly ordinances were organized through the Chinese calendar, solar terms and ritual order; they do not map one-to-one onto Gregorian month 8. Any display must use an annual calendar and regional context.
